Parents’ and Friends’ Association (PFA), is an active parental group that strives to develop a sense of community between parents, students, teachers and the Principal to achieve common goals. The group also fundraises with a focus on identifying worthwhile projects that will benefit the College community.
Support the PFA provides to the College:
- Serving refreshments for College functions, College Productions and Music nights
- Contributing to Information Evenings
- Community forums
Fundraising events the PFA organise:
- Entertainment Books
- Hot Cross Buns
- Sausage sizzles
- Social Nights
Through our fundraising the PFA have made many contributions to the College. Our most recent purchase, in collaboration with the Music Department, was to purchase a baby grand piano for our new Performing Arts Centre.
All parents are welcome to attend our meetings which are held in The John Landy Centre from 7.30pm on the 4th Monday of each month during school terms. Details of meetings are advertised in our fortnightly College Newsletter.
Our meetings provide a unique opportunity to act as a channel of communication between parents and the College, be more closely involved in what is happening at the College and it’s a great way of meeting other EDSC parents.
