Exam Supervisors

East Doncaster Secondary College seeks to appoint several Exam Supervisors in accordance with the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) for both the General Achievement Test (GAT) and the end of year VCE Written examinations. These exams take place as follows:

GAT :                                               Tuesday 18 June 2024

VCE Written Exams :                 Tuesday 29 October 2024 until Wednesday 20 November 2024

These are casual positions, with varying hours in accordance with published examination schedules and associated administrative duties. Successful candidates will play a crucial role in upholding the integrity and smooth operation of our examination processes, ensuring a fair and conducive environment for all examinees. Renumeration
Remuneration is aligned with rates published by VCAA.

  • General Achievement Test (GAT)
    • Tuesday 18 June 2024 – 8 hours total, $300 ($37.50per hour)
    • GAT A – 4 hours, 30 minutes paid – $168.75
    • GAT B – 3 hours, 30 minutes paid – $131.25
  • VCE Examinations
    • Varying hours in accordance with published examination schedules
    • $37.88 per hour

Successful candidates will also need to sign a VCAA statutory declaration as part of their onboarding process. Pursuant to VCAA eligibility requirements, an Assistant Exam Supervisor cannot be:

  • Related to or associated with any students undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2024 at East Doncaster Secondary College.
  • Teaching any student in a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2024.
  • Tutoring a student in a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2024 at East Doncaster Secondary College.
  • Related to or associated with any person engaged in teaching, tutoring, or coaching any students undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2024, or any school personnel engaged in organising or checking VCE external assessment materials at East Doncaster Secondary College.
  • Employed by the school as a teacher (excluding CRT) or a member of the administration staff.

We are seeking suitably qualified, enthusiastic teachers who would like to work as a CRT at our College.

  • Must be VIT Registered
  • Must meet Government Child Safety Standards requirements – please refer to below
  • Ability to teach Mathematics, Science or Physical Education desirable
  • Mandatory Reporting and Anaphylaxis Trained preferable
