Students meet weekly on Tuesdays in house and year level-based classes for Positive Futures. Positive Futures sessions aim to enhance student wellbeing, increase connectedness, and equip students for life as global citizens. We focus on developing authentic relationships within our school community and strive to embed the concept of teaching the “whole child”.
Positive Futures brings together a whole school approach to Positive Education with a focus on: positive health, positive self, positive relationships, accomplishment, positive emotion, and positive engagement.
Topics include: Resilience, Self-care, Community action, Goal setting, Communication, Peer Support Mentor Program, Leadership, Careers, Study skills, Mindfulness, Gratitude and Celebrating national days.
