Reading Challenge Pizza Party and Prizes
Congratulations to all the students who enjoyed the Reading Challenge Pizza Party in the library this week.
186 students completed the Reading Challenge at EDSC this year by reading and submitting 15 or more books into the Challenge. These students earned themselves an invitation to the Pizza Party which took over the library at lunchtime on Wednesday. All the students who completed the Challenge also received a certificate signed by the Victorian Premiers.
Overall in 2026, 289 EDSC students participated in the Reading Challenge and read an amazing total of 4,841 books.
Well done to 7K and 7 who were the classes who read the most books at ESDC. These classes will be receiving a class reward during Term 4.

Thank you to all the staff and students who supported the Reading Challenge at EDSC this year. The library team has loved talking about books and reading with students throughout the Challenge. We look forward to even more students getting involved in the Reading Challenge in 2027.
