Instrumental Music Program

Our Instrumental Music Program is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn a musical instrument and profit from the wider benefits that learning music brings. Students play in one or more of a number of different ensembles from Concert Bands, String Ensembles, Stage Bands and Choirs.

Performances are held regularly throughout the year by all ensembles, culminating in major concerts at the end of each Semester in our own Performing Arts Centre.

Students are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular music activities such as the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Music Concert and the sitting of AMEB music exams. The emphasis of the program is on making great music, working as a team and having fun!

In May of our students were selected to perform in Hamer Hall as part of the North Eastern Victoria Region (NEVR) Youth Concert. A wonderful opportunity to play in one of the best performance venues in the world, our students combined with hundreds of students from government Primary and Secondary schools within the region to form massed concert bands, orchestras and choirs.
